The gravy is silky and rich thanks to a full can of condensed cow’s milk and a small amount of arrowroot powder for thickening. Paired with cauliflower rice and green beans, this meal is delicious and keeps your keto lifestyle on track.

🥘 Ingredients
Turkey Steaks
1 lb. ground turkey
Salt
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Smoked paprika
Black or white pepper
Pinch of sage (optional)
Pinch of thyme (optional)
Almond flour for a light coating
Olive oil for cooking
Gravy
1 full can condensed cow’s milk
½–1 cup water
Olive oil + pan drippings from cooking the turkey
1–2 teaspoons arrowroot powder
¼ cup cold water (to dissolve arrowroot)
Pepper or herbs
Sides
Cauliflower rice
Green beans
Sourdough Bread
🍳 How to Make the Turkey Steaks
Shape the ground turkey into steaks.
Season both sides with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper.
Lightly coat the steaks in almond flour.
Cook in olive oil until golden brown and fully done.
Remove steaks, keeping the oil and browned bits in the skillet.
🥛 Creamy Condensed Milk Gravy (Arrowroot Thickened)
Keep the skillet on medium-low with the olive oil and drippings.
Mix 1–2 teaspoons arrowroot with ¼ cup cold water to make a slurry. Set aside.
Add the full can of condensed milk to the skillet.
Add enough water to reach your preferred gravy thickness.
When warm (not boiling), whisk in the arrowroot slurry slowly.
Stir until thick, smooth, and glossy.
Add pepper or herbs to taste.
Return turkey steaks to the skillet and simmer briefly.
Arrowroot works beautifully with condensed milk — it thickens quickly, never clumps, and gives your gravy a silky finish.
🥗 Serve With Keto Sides
Cauliflower rice sautéed lightly in olive oil
Green beans steamed or pan-cooked with Salt and pepper
Sourdough bread toasted or pan-cooked in olive oil until golden
This makes a full, satisfying plate without extra carbs.
💡 Tips for Best Results
Add arrowroot slurry only to warm gravy — not boiling — to avoid thinning.
Almond flour browns fast, so keep the heat moderate.
A tiny splash of ACV brings out the gravy's savory notes.
Sauté mushrooms or celery and mix them into your cauliflower rice for texture.
